Spectralite

Spectralite comes from the family of feldspars related to labradorite. It is considered by most to be only semi-precious in nature. However, the fans of the gem beg to differ; considering it a precious commodity indeed.

Found primarily in Finland, spectralite is mined in limited quantities in the countries of Canada, India, Madagascar, Newfoundland, and Russia. The translucent stone displays a remarkable iridescence as it is viewed from various angles.
